We offer many ways for you to get involved... in doing mission together, in sharing fellowship. Perhaps you're interested in our Young Women's weekly study group. It might be that you could play a part in our outreach ministry, or a worship planning team, or drive for our transportation ministry, or consult with our technology team... we have many ways for you to plug-in.

Christian Women's Fellowship
Christian Women's Fellowship of Raytown Christian Church offers small groups which meet the second Wednesday during the day at member's homes. In addition there is an evening group that meets on the second Monday.
Men's Fellowship
Christian Men's Fellowship meets for a Men's Breakfast on the first and third Thursdays of the month.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets monthly, on the second Wednesday of the month, at7:00 pm. Participants knit or crochet shawls, praying for the receiver as theneedlework progresses. Completed shawls will be dedicated at a worship service, and then distributed. Recipients will include: the bereaved, sick children, teachers, and graduates. We encourage those who knit or crochet to participate in this ministry, as well as those who would like to learn to knit or crochet. God can use you in this ministry whether you are a beginner or highly skilled. Call Jo Brown at (816)886-6187 if you have questions.
Scrapbook Group
The Scrapbook Group is a small group that gets together to work on their individual projects. They enjoy the sharing of ideas, tools, & supplies. They meet on the second Thursday of the month from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. in the Searchers Classroom (Room 124) in the adult education wing. It would be a delight to have more people join, so just gather up those photos and supplies, and come join the fun!

Scouting - We sponsor a Girl scout troop and Cub Pack and Boy Scout Troop 285 . They meet weekly on Monday evenings.
Shepherd Center - In additional to supporting Meals on Wheels, the Shepherd's Center holds "Adventures in Learning" in our building on the fourth Friday of the month.
Raytown Artist - Organization of artists whose purpose is the promoting and betterment of art, and making the community aware of art. Sponsors contests for art students. Offers a college scholarship to a talented financially needy graduating senior, majoring in the visual arts. Recipient will be from the Raytown community high schools, i.e., Raytown High, Raytown South and O'Hara. They meet the 3rd Thursday each month.
