Vocal Choirs
The choir program has opportunities for every age.
God's Kids includes primary children from four years through second grade. They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 and sing for church approximately every 6 weeks. They will be a part of the children's Christmas pageant. This is a fine choir for developing your child's singing. Rehearsals begin September 9.
Junior Choir will be third through fifth graders. They will help lead worship monthly. They rehearse on Sundays at 9:45am.
The Inspirations Youth Choir will be sixth through twelfth graders. They will be singing two, three, and four part music, and lead worship for the 8:15 service regularly. Occasionally the Inspirations combine with the Chancel Choir on special Sundays of the church year. In June 2010 they will sing on the 39th annual youth tour from Raytown Christian Church. This choir has a fine tradition to uphold. They rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 beginning August 26.
The Chancel Choir leads worship at the 11:00am service and presents special services for various seasons of the church year. They rehearse on Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 beginning August 19.
