The Bear Went ___ the Mountain

Overcoming Obstacles

If you have kids, or if you remember back when you were a kid, you may remember the old song:

The bear went over the mountain,
The bear went over the mountain,
The bear went over the mountain,
To see what he could see.

To be fair, though, the bear had choices when it came to the mountain. The bear could have decided it was too tall to go over, or too rocky, or just too inconvenient.

The bear could have gone around the mountain.

The bear could have decided to tunnel under the mountain.

Or the bear could have taken one look at the mountain a chosen to go back.

We all face obstacles ... everyday. Getting over or around these obstacles is the key to our success.

Some of those obstacles are circumstances.

Some of people.

Some are of our own making.

All of them need to be dealt with. In this week's Conversation, we'll look at some options for getting up and over, around or through the obstacles that get in our way.
