Doing Your Duty

Passage: 2 Samuel 19:1–8

Bible Text: 2 Samuel 19:1–8 | Preacher: Dr. Bill Tenny-Brittian | Series: Walk Tall in Times of Injustice | Duty. The word has come to have a less-than a stellar reputation. Obligation, responsibility, and drudgery seem to be synonymous – and the truth is … they are. Duty isn’t always fun. It isn’t always rewarding. But it is a reality in the real world. Duty is what drives a man, or a woman, forward in the driving rain and in the storms of life whether they like it or not. The fact is, life isn’t a picnic and we can either make terms with that or we can be miserable.
