Joshua the Spy

Passage: Joshua 24:14–28

Bible Text: Joshua 24:14–28 | Preacher: Dr. Bill Tenny-Brittian | Series: Dangerous Men of the Bible | Masculinity. It’s a loaded word in today’s culture. A Harvard professor was fired for suggesting that men and women thought differently. Over the past four decades, men have been asked to be softer, gentler, more compassionate, and more emotionally connected. No longer can military trainers yell at recruits in basic training. The Army, Navy, and Marines have been charged with becoming more compassionate. And yet, war is still hell and lately there have been questions about the mental preparedness of young soldiers for the harsh realities of conflict. The differences between the genders is being eroded. The question is … is that a good thing?
