Here are the quick instructions on how to make the most of the weekly Zoom Worship Watch Parties.
We hope you’re as excited about the Raytown Christian Church’s Zoom Worship Watch Parties as we are. The following instructions will help you make the most of your worship experience.
To participate in the Watch Party, you’ll need to have a Zoom account.
Open and log in to your Zoom account and once you’re up and running, click on the Join icon
Enter the meeting ID: 528 314 0257
Make sure your name is correct … and if there are more than one of you watching, consider putting all your first names in there!
Click the Join button
Be sure to click the Join with Video button!
The Worship Moderator will “approve” your request and you’ll join the Watch party.
Go ahead and Join with Computer Audio, but you will be muted by the moderator until worship is over.
Make sure you’re in Speaker View. The notification of your current view is on the upper right corner of the Zoom window. If the you see the words Speaker View, click on the link. If you see the words Gallery View then you are already in the correct mode.
Pin the worship window to your screen. Mouse over the main worship window and click on the three dot menu box. Then click Pin Video from the menu window. This will ensure the worship video remains front and center.
Next, click on the Enter Full Screen icon (it’s at the top right of the Zoom window). This will put Zoom into full screen and you’ll have the best view possible.
When you enter full screen mode, a Video Menu box will appear at the top right of the video screen. We recommend minimizing this box (click the – icon) and dragging it to the very top and right of the screen.
Finally, be sure you’re familiar with how to Chat with other worship participants. Drag your mouse to the bottom of your Zoom screen and click on the Chat icon. When you do, the Zoom Chat Client will open. Drag the Chat Window to someplace convenient (I like the bottom right corner). Feel free to “chat” with those before and after worship and if you have questions during worship. Our moderator (or pastor) will respond as necessary. Note, have the option to send a chat to “Everyone” or you can click the blue Everyone button to send a private message to anyone in attendance.
