WHY WE GIVE
- Because Raytown Christian Church is making a difference in people’s lives. RCC touches people in Raytown every single day. Our Summer Lunch program feeds 400-500 children every day during the school break. Our members share the Gospel with their friends, relatives, acquaintances, neighbors, co-workers, and pretty much everyone else through prayer, conversation, and invitations to events hosted at the church. Our tithes and offerings make all that possible.
- Every time we gather in worship, we remember that every good thing in our life is a gift of grace, freely given by the God who creates us and sustains us. To grow in our faith, we need to give, to respond to God’s love by in turn giving back. Giving is an important spiritual practice. Like every spiritual practice, stewardship giving is most effective when it is done out of a sense of commitment, a commitment we have made ourselves, and when it is followed through with consistency.
