Help Out at the River of Refuge
The River of Refuge is our mission partner that provides transitional housing and training to families in the Raytown area. There are always things to do there and your help is badly needed.
- Help flip vacant apartments (cleaning, etc.)
- Pantry organizing and stocking
- Campus clean-up and maintenance (yard work, etc.)
- Childcare Mondays or Wednesdays, 6:15–7:45
- Help with upcoming activities (varies by season)
Help Out at REAP
The Raytown Emergency Assistance Program is our mission partner that provides emergency assistance (food and finances) to those facing emergency shortages in the Raytown are. Typically, most people think of making financial and food kinds of donations to REAP, but they really could use some volunteers as well.
- Pantry stocking
- Filling grocery sacks for distribution

Send cards, notes, and letters to those who are isolated and lonely. We’ll provide names and addresses of folks who need a friend.
If you love making people smile and talking on the phone (or on FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, Hangouts, etc.), you can brighten people’s lives with a call. We’ll provide the contacts, you provide the sunshine.
